It’s the most magical time of year for sugar lovers on the East Coast – maple syrup season!
I grew up going to the local maple sugar camps every March and April. Indulging in the maple taffy poured on fresh snow, taking in a pancake breakfast with fresh maple syrup, and of course – buying bars of maple butter.
Yes, maple butter is a thing that exists.
This past weekend, the sun was shinning, the weather was warm, and we couldn’t think of a better way to spend a few hours on a Saturday afternoon than to head out to the maple sugar camps.
Here’s a look at our super fun visit to the Renton Brothers Family Sugarbush and the Trites Family Sugar Bush.
Have you visited the Maple Sugar camps this winter? We HIGHLY recommend a sugary, sweet visit!

March 23, 2017 at 8:44 amoh, I forgot about this! I should take Evening – we’re usually so busy making our own maple syrup that we miss the camps, but with the new baby we’re taking this year off. *crosses fingers for a warm day*
