BOHÈMEbySEA owner and artist Gab Levesque is based in Saint John, New Brunswick and creates custom delights from beginning to end.

From sanding and staining the wood supports in her garage to hand dip-dying each of her fibre artworks—this is an artist who knows how to bring the ocean to your home.

Many pieces on her Instagram remind us of sandy coastlines and she has shipped her delightful creations across Canada.

I am in awe of artisans like Gab! With her hands-on approach, she honors the traditions of craftsmanship by taking her time and being active in every part of her process. I have seen her on Instagram hand sanding dowels for hanging and hand-dipping each of her fiber creations to the exact shades of an ocean at sunset.

When I think of getting something really unique for the people close to my heart, I think of craftspeople just like her who are keeping traditions like this one alive.
