On the 6th day of NB Christmas Giveaways, McGuire Chocolate gave to us all the chocolate we could hope for in our stocking this year! 5 chocolate bars, 1 jar of rich caramel and 1 chocolate bark valued at $85.50!
If you wander down to one of my favourite spots in New Brunswick, you’ll find McGuire Chocolate—owned by the sweetest couple named Mark and Victoria! If you’ve been keeping up with our staycations in St. Andrews to plan our upcoming wedding, you’ll know that I never leave town without stopping in for some delicious treats.
About McGuire Chocolate
McGuire Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate maker with a focus on preparing a simple and high quality product from the inside out.
They have been making chocolate for four years and their journey began when we discovered how different flavour profiles from origin cacao was shaped by fermentation, roasting and conching.
They’ve recently moved to beautiful St Andrews-by-the-Sea where they’ve scaled their chocolate making operations to include a cafe storefront on Water Street where they also make ice cream, bread, and baked goods using delicious single-origin chocolate.
Why we love them
We first heard about McGuire Chocolate through our wedding florist, Peony & Pear, and have been obsessed with them ever since. When we roll into town, it’s standard to swing by and grab some of their delicious cookies for some late night staycation snacking. As fellow cat people, I absolutely adore that their cat Hank is the feline face behind the brand.
If you’re in St. Andrews, make sure to stop by and try their cookies and hot chocolate with ROASTED marshmallow. Leaving these divine treats out for Santa might get you permanently on the ‘nice’ list! Can’t travel to Saint Andrews? You can order many of their delicious bars, barks, and spreads like their caramel sauce, which they recommend as being ideal for cooking, spreading or eating out of the jar. I took their advice and went with the latter.
We can’t wait to get back to St. Andrews to see them again and try even more of their incredible products.
Santa’s Fine Print:
If you’ve been around these waters for a while now, you’ll know that there’s nothing I love more than exploring and enjoying everything that New Brunswick has to offer!

When I lived in St. Andrews, NB @McGuireChocolate was my go-to place quite often. Being away from town, now, thus is someplace that I REALLY miss a LOT!!
