Summer is here and I’ve been waiting all winter to fill my cooler with grab and go, refreshing drinks for beach days, island hopping, and sunsets.

And we're all in luck — a wave of delicious new products have washed ashore at @anbl, just in time for you to meet your summer fling.

My top catch?

Matt & Steves Caesar 🍅

I LOVE caesars but when you're on the go, bringing all of the ingredients to mix-up caesars at our destination takes up valuable packing space, which is why these are my new go-to. And they may just be the best pre-made caesar I've had around these waters!

Moosehead Chelada 🍋

I teased this delicious drink back in May — it’s not only an excellent sunset beverage, it’s perfect if you're craving a cold beer on a hot day, but aren't really a beer drinker. Hi, it's me! You’ll want your cooler stocked with these.

And lastly —

Wyatt Rose Mexican Lime Ranch Water 🌵

Oh em gee! This refreshing drink may be my new summer lover — it’s refreshing, has the perfect hint of tequila and offers the right amount of citrus and chill for hot summer days. I think I'm in love.

Easily lured by tartar sauce 🐟

Last week, we stopped at The Kitchen in Blacks Harbour for a quick bite before catching the ferry to Grand Manan Island.

Naturally, I ordered the fish and chips, as mermaids do.

Not only was the fish battered with a Picaroons Swallowtail Lite Beer batter and served with fresh cut fries —

The homemade tartar sauce was quite simply — OFF THE CHARTS 🗺

I'm talking - off the charts, in the Bermuda Triangle somewhere, level of off the charts.

The owner was kind enough to reveal her secret ingredients but sorry — I’ll be taking those to Davey Jone’s Locker with me 😉

If you’re visiting or passing through Blacks Harbour this summer on your way to catch the ferry — make sure to allow some extra time for a delicious meal at the Kitchen.

The service was fantastic, the owners were the kindest, and the food was amazing.

They also offer takeout and you can call ahead, if you’re on your way to the ferry and want to order something to go.

Consider it Mermaid Approved 🧜🏻‍♀️
