When I created my 2016 Summer Bucket List, I made sure that I had a few destinations and items that were new to me. I consider myself pretty well traveled around the East Coast, so finding attractions that I have yet to explore can be tricky, but not impossible.
The St. Martins Sea Caves were just that. A destination only an hour and a half away, but one I still hadn’t made it to.
As a visit to St. Martins must be planned around the tides (you can only walk the ocean floor and explore the caves at low tide) they were the perfect way to end our adventure at the Fundy Trail Parkway, conveniently located just 10kms from the caves. See more of the Fundy Trail here.
St. Martins is a super cute little town, with two adorable covered bridges, a tourist information center in a lighthouse, amazing seafood joints and quaint gift shops. While we didn’t spend a ton of time exploring the town, we made sure to snap some before and after pictures of the St. Martins wharf at both high and low tide.
Here are some of my favorite snapshots from our visit!
St. Martins is definitely a spot I’ll happily return to again soon. And of course, now that we’re in love with the Fundy Trail Parkway, we’ll definitely be back!
