As much as I love the ocean, I do still love a good trip to a beautiful lake in the summer. So when we made plans for a couples weekend on Washademoak Lake in Cambridge Narrows, I was over the moon excited.
One weekend. My best friends. Perfect cottage. Beautiful lake. HOT TUB.
Located just an hour from home, it was my first time visiting the Cambridge Narrows area but I’ll definitely be going back. It was beautiful, picturesque, and the definition of #lakelife.
Here’s a look a fantastic weekend with my favorite humans.
Our cottage was SO cute and while the wind kept us from fishing right on the lake in front of our place, we were able to go just a short 5 minutes away to the perfect fishing spot.
We’re pretty much the three coolest couples and a baby around.
After catching and releasing a few fish, we made a quick visit to a beautiful winery, Mott’s Landing, where we had the chance to sample some amazing local wines.
By far, one of the highlights of the weekend was the amazing hot tub at the cottage.
We spent so much time in there, sharing stories, sipping refreshing drinks, and of course, when the men were busy fishing – girl talk galore!
