After spending two amazing days in Portland, mamacita, Colleen and I drove to the southern coast of Maine to spend two days in Cape Neddick, found in York, Maine. Home to two beautiful beaches – Short Sands and Long Sands Beach, as well as a number of seaside attractions – Cape Neddick is most well known for its Nubble Lighthouse.
And we all know how I am drawn to lighthouses.
While the weather wasn’t as epic as it was in Portland – we had some rain and some Stephen King novel caliber fog – we made the best of it with a trip up to Kennebunkport for some shopping + lunch, and as per our MO, we took several hundred photos playing on the beaches. We also spent at least an hour in a trance watching salt water toffee creations being made at the famous Goldenrod Kisses.
Note to anyone travelling to Cape Neddick: stop at Goldenrod Kisses.
Here are all of my favorite snapshots from this part of our Maine adventure! With some East Coast Mermaid tanks in action!
