Fearless Sirens Series: Girl Bossing with Tara Geldart Photography

Girl-Bossing-with-Tara-Geldart-Photography

The ‘Fearless Sirens’ series is a new series where I feature stories, interviews, and adventures with fellow girl bosses, adventurers, and storytellers that I’m fortunate to meet in this thing called life.

Several months ago, a local photographer by the name of Tara Geldart reached out to me about my blog and shared that she had recently joined the exciting Girl Boss world. She admitted, it wasn’t exactly planned, and then I assured her that those are simply the best beginnings to a lifelong adventure.

Because if we could see magic coming, how boring would that be?

After meeting for coffee, hearing all about her story, her adorable family, and her photography journey, I was thrilled to get to work with her on a lifestyle photoshoot. I’ll admit, I’ve never considered myself a fashion blogger, but it was incredibly fun to spend an evening posing for fun shots around downtown Moncton with Tara.

Her specialty is lifestyle with an amazing talent for newborn, baby, children and family sessions. Her couples shoots are pretty epic too (see my favorite one here). She’s also pretty great at capturing little mermaids in the making. She gets plenty of practice at home, as she is the mother of six – yes, I said SIX – beautiful children and one dog named George.

Tara has been featured in a number of publications, including the Huffington Post and Money Sense Magazine. There are DEFINITELY many more features coming her way. Shooting with Tara was not only crazy fun, it was also pretty inspiring. She without a doubt has a pretty amazing future as a lifestyle photographer here on the East Coast.

Here are just a few (because they were all so perfect) of my favorite shots from our downtown photoshoot! And yes – she even took my photo doing my thing in Starbucks, because having a toffee nut latte in my hand and my iphone in the other is kind of my thing.

Disclaimer: I was gifted a lifestyle photoshoot with Tara in exchange for an honest review of the service. My honest review is that she, hands down, is worth every single penny, nickel, dime, quarter and dollar bill. I had a fantastic time and can’t wait for the next shoot!

Fantastic post and you are right Crystal, I LOVE every single photos!
I moved to Moncton almost 3 years ago and I’ve been so busy with building my “empire” that I haven’t had the chance to discover the East Coast yet! Following you gives me the opportunity to not only meet awesome mermaids…I mean inspiring ladies but also I get to know more about the region which I’m falling in love with everyday that goes by! Thank you!
