Wild Lights (and Nights) of Christmas

The title of this post may have you imagining all kinds of things – rushing to get the presents wrapped and under the tree or an office Christmas party turned a little wilder and crazier than you could have ever imagined. What you’re likely not imagining is a spectacular night of Christmas lights and animals under the stars.

Just a week or so ago, I posted about my latest trip to the Magnetic Hill Zoo. As I’ve said many times before, it’s one of my favorite attractions in Moncton and I always enjoy spending the day there. This year, they’ve launched the first-ever Wild Lights featuring hundreds of thousands of holiday lights throughout the Zoo. While most of the animals are tucked away for the winter, the primates building and ecodome are both open and filled with cute animals enjoying the festive spirit. Bonus: The marmosets have babies!

Here is just a look at my evening out to Wild Lights with my mother and one of her best gals!

It’s only $10 (with Tuesday nights only $8). There’s free hot chocolate and just the right amount of lights to enjoy before you start to freeze your bum off. Get all the details here.

And did I mention baby marmosets? Yeah.

Have you been to Wild Lights? Are you planning to attend? Let me know what you thought in the comments below OR tweet me!
