I’m no stranger to sharing smoothie recipes on the blog and this isn’t the first smoothie that has been featured as my Recipe of the Month (it definitely won’t be the last!) but of all the smoothies I have raved about on here, this one is DEFINITELY my new favorite. I’ve been drinking it every day for the past month and I’m in love.
Here’s exactly what you’ll need to make this powerful green smoothie! All portions are approximate based on how large of a drink you’re looking to make!
- 1/2 to 1 cup of almond milk (I use the coconut almond milk for added coconut flavour)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 to 1 cup of chopped pineapple
- 1 to 2 tbsp of shredded coconut
- 1 tsp of acai powder
- 1 large handful of fresh kale
Throw everything into your blender and VROOM VROOM!
I’ve noticed a huge difference in my energy since introducing kale into my daily routine and there is so much goodness packed into this smoothie, it holds me over until lunch.
