Introducing: Guilty Pleasure of the Month

As a busy (happily busy, I might add) professional, I am a huge fan of routine in some aspects of my life. This blog, is one of those aspects, which is why I was thrilled at the warm welcome of the C List series and last summer’s Scenes from the Weekend. Which is totally returning this Spring – I promise!

Though life is busy, I found an exciting new way to introduce four new monthly series to the blog.

Tonight, I’m kicking off the first!

On the last week of every month, I will share my newest guilty pleasure in the entertainment department. Maybe it’s a movie I saw that I can’t stop thinking about or maybe it’s my latest Netflix obsession.

Tonight, it’s the latter: my latest Netflix obsession.

The show is Bloodline and it’s a Netflix original, which if your up to speed on your Netflix lingo  means the entire season is available and you can binge watch it over the course of 13 hours if your heart desires. I haven’t done that, but in less than a week, I’ve knocked 8 / 13 episodes off my list and even gotten my mother hooked. It’s also available on both Canadian and American Netflix.

The show stars Coach Taylor Kyle Chandler among other bad ass stars and is set in the Florida Keys. You will want to move there. The show is centered around the Rayburn family – Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard star as the parents and apparent linchpins of the family, with Kyle Chandler, and three other lesser know (read: not Coach Taylor) actors playing his siblings. You will love each in their own way.

All have their own story and their own drama and you only need to watch one episode to discover that together, they have more than one secret swept under the rug of their beautiful bed and breakfast resort on the Islamorada Key.

The show’s tagline? We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing.

Bloodline has drama, angst, mystery, sex, drugs, and sun & sand.

It also has all the makings of the perfect Netflix binge. So if you feel so inclined, check it out and come back and tell me what you think!

AND make sure to come back over the next three weeks to discover the additional three new monthly posts! To get them while their hot, subscribe to my blog over to the right or follow me on Twitter @crystalcrichard to stay in the know!

Hint: If you’re looking for new beauty products to try, books to read, or recipes to whip up in the kitchen, you’re going to want to come back and often!
