The C List

Fall2014_TheCList_HeaderHappy Friday folks!

Wait – we are Friday, right?

It’s been one of those weeks, where on several occasions, I’ve totally thought it was Wednesday when it was Thursday. Monday when it was Tuesday. You know, the usual I’m actually one day behind reality.

But Friday, it’s wonderful to see you!

As I mentioned, it’s been a crazy week. Crazy in all the right ways but I’m definitely looking forward to a little extra sleep this weekend as well as the annual search in the woods (read: tree farm) for the C Family Christmas tree. Every year, it’s a wonderful, freezing experience and I’m sure this year will be no exception – that’s why they created Caramel Brûlée lattes at Starbucks, right?

So to get this perfect weekend off to a great start, here are my favorite links from this week’s internet browsing.

1. Joel the Lump of Coal by The Killers (via Jimmy Kimmel YouTube) Every year, the Killers record an original (and quirky) Christmas song with all proceeds going to RED Campaign. This year, they teamed up with Jimmy Kimmel to pen Joel the Lump of Coal and the end result is Christmas perfection.

2. The Gift Guide: Just for You (via stephaniefusco.com) Need a little last minute Christmas gift inspiration? Not sure what to put on your Christmas wish list? This is the post for you. Hint: I have one of the Tiffany & Co. crystal Christmas ornaments and they are GORGEOUS.

3. The Hardest “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” Quiz You’ll Ever Take (via Buzzfeed) I consider myself to be the utmost expert when it comes to all things Griswold and I only got an 11/14. Take the quiz and let me know in the comments how you did!

4. This 24-year old just broke JK Rowling’s sales record. NBD. (via HelloGiggles) My love for Zoe Sugg and her boyfriend Alfie Deyes really deserves its own post for another day BUT in the meantime – stop and be amazed by this story sweeping the internet. Not gonna lie, I haven’t picked up a YA book in awhile but this one is on my Must Read list for 2015.

And that’s it for this week!

Have an awesome weekend and if you’re getting into the holiday spirit – ENJOY!

xx
