The Taste of Fall

Alright – there has been A LOT of talk lately about seasonal drinks.

You know what I’m talking about.

Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.

68859_10100242870079159_322394876_nPeople get REALLY excited about these things.

But until a few weeks ago – I’d never tried one. Which was confusing to some. How does a Starbucks addict like myself not indulge in this annual tradition. Let’s just say – I’m extremely loyal to my beloved toffee nut latte.

That said – I’m a firm believer in being open to trying new things. After all, last year, I fell madly in love with another seasonal favorite – the salted caramel mocha. And my 2nd favorite Starbucks drink of life after my Toffee Nut latte is the Caramel Brulee Latte around Christmas.

So I decided to suck it up and try this latte everyone and their Instagram are talking about.

And it kinda went like this.

emma-yeah-okthat’s forced enthusiasm – just FYI

Yeah, the famous Pumpkin Spiced Latte – while good – is really not anything to write home about. You know what IS something to write home about? Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolates. But really – I get way more excited about the Salted Caramel Mocha, which I may or may not have indulged in today.

So let’s hear it. Am I wired wrong? Are my taste buds whack? Or are pumpkin spiced lattes more hype than actual tasty goodness?

If you had to pick – Pumpkin Spiced Latte or Salted Caramel Mocha?

And GO!

  1. It pains me to say this, as a just as avid Starbucks goer as yourself, but I’ve never actually had either. I’m a peppermint girl. The others freak me out ;)
